During this workshop, MA Fashion Design students immersed themselves in the world of Japanese cutting techniques, exploring the delicate balance between tradition and contemporary avant-garde design. The students, functioning as a collective within MASON MAFD, undertook the ambitious task of developing and executing an entire collection from start to finish. This process involved the meticulous selection of materials, innovative fabric manipulation techniques, and the application of advanced technical garment cutting.
