The University of Southampton Winchester School of Art’s Artist Book and Zine Fair returns!

Winchester School of Art is pleased to invite you to Into the Fold 2026, the University of Southampton’s third Artist Book and Zine Fair, a free event showcasing artwork by local students and regional artists for sale.

Event Information

Into the Fold will feature stalls from artist book and zine makers from across the UK including WSA students, staff and local artists.

Over the two days, there will also be exhibitions: Folding Space: Japanese and UK Artists’ Books curated by Noriko Suzuki-Bosco and Catherine Polley in The Winchester Gallery and I am a book: Japan in the Artists Book Collection curated by Catherine Polley, in the WSA Library gallery space. In addition, there will be an opportunity to attend an introduction and handling session on the Artists’ Book Collection at WSA Library, printmaking and other activities, a talk by James Macdonell & Grant Cox from Library’s Digital Scholarship Team and a performative event with artist Sebastiane Hegarty. In memory of Mark Pawson, we will be running an ‘I love free stuff’ table for you to take and/or remake with.
