The MA Global Media Management Programme is pleased to invite you to a guest lecture by Dr. Sterling MacKinnon. Dr. MacKinnon is a researcher with the Oxford Resilient Buildings and Landscapes Laboratory, a sound artist, and the project manager for Kickstarting Heritage Innovations; an interdisciplinary project whose mission is to co-develop innovative research solutions with partners across the heritage sector. This talk focuses on his interest in the use of digital visualisation tools in heritage and archaeology. Using illustrative examples from both his doctoral and post-doctoral work, the talk will specifically explore the production, circulation, and ontic multiplicity of heritage data and digital heritage objects.
